Hello, I'm David O'Keefe, Owner / Inspector of HouseAbout Home Inspections, LLC.

 I earned my New York State home inspection license in 2008 after retiring from the New York State Dept of Corrections.  After 27 years of service, I decided a change was in order. I now enjoy being my own boss and the freedom to spend more time with my wife and two children.

I am licensed in New York State (minimum requirement by the way)

Part of my job as a home inspector, is to manage the expectations of my clients. This is especially true for first time home buyers or when my clients have never dealt with a home inspector before. Explaining the limitations of a home inspection will help you develop realistic expectations concerning what to expect from a home inspection report, and what lies beyond the scope of the inspection.

Creating realistic expectations in my client’s mind will help prevent misunderstandings and promote smooth real estate transactions.
