David did an amazing job. His thorough and insightful inspection helped us make the right decision. The level of detail in the report was amazing and the accompanying photos and recommendations that David made in each section was incredibly valuable. I would also like to mention that there was a foot of snow on the ground and David just put his boots on and got to work without a complaint. Fabulous professional. On time, and took his time to inspect every detail and explain everything to us on our new home inspection. Took numerous photos. He was there nearly 3 hours and spent additional time on his own preparing a 40 page plus document outlining everything with pictures. Between his travel time, the time he was there and time spent preparing the report, I would say he spent at least 6 hours or more. Well worth the price paid. Thanks to Dave we were able to renegotiate to allow for the concerns that he found. I can't say enough about Dave. Highly recommend him, and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Mr. O'Keefe did a very thorough inspection of our new home prior to our purchase. He left no stone unturned. He was detailed in his assessment of the home, both during the inspection (to us and to the seller) as well as after the inspection, via the inspection report that he emailed us. He has also sent several follow-up emails containing good tips and best practices for repairs and preventive maintenance. I recommended Mr. O'Keefe to a coworker who also had a great experience with him. My real estate agent had a home inspector that she recommended, but we decided to use Mr. O'Keefe instead and our agent was so impressed, that she asked him for some business cards. Initially I thought the inspection might be overkill since the property was not that old, however just to be on the safe side I went ahead and ordered the inspection. First of all, I'll save you the read. HIRE HIM. I came across David from these very reviews, and it was his positive feedback that led me to contacting him. Im glad I did. David was professional, yet personable. He made you feel like he knew what he was doing, and he was there to help you out. This is not my first home purchase, or home inspection. I was very pleased with the product I received with my last inspection, and it was from a personal friend, however, I will say that hands down, David went above and beyond. I received a 51 page report that had absolutely everything detailed in a very easy to understand manner. I am a handy person, and having owned a home, much like many homeowners, I know what Im looking for in a purchase. There were many little things that I noticed when I first viewed the home that I was curious if he would pick up on or not, or put the effort into finding. I climbed into every nook and cranny the home offered. David picked up on every single one, and then went on to find more that I didn't catch myself. I could go on, but heres what you care about. David's prices were on par or, in many cases, CHEAPER than the competitors in the area. His report was in by lunch the following day, which was even more impressive being that it was 51 pages with pictures to back it up. He was more or less able to schedule me in when I needed him to be there, as opposed to many of the other inspectors in the area I contacted who wanted to schedule several weeks out. His professionalism was on point, and the guy clearly takes his job and reputation seriously. As much as I hated to do it, I sent him the infamous "well.. what did you find" message, before receiving the report, and he was totally cool with it, he gave me the basics, and provided the report the following day. Last but not least, and this is something I really put a great deal of emphasis on.. he was ACCESSIBLE. He responded to e-mails and calls quickly. Listen, you are getting a great product at a more than reasonable price. This is the guy for you.
